Big enough to compete, small enough to serve you well

Founding

Boutique Chapman was founded in Gatineau in November 1988 under the name Clinique du Chaudron et Plus. The store then specialized in selling and repairing kitchenware, putting its expertise and after-sales service forward to make its mark in the field.

Vacuums

In 1996, the store began its first expansion by acquiring a vacuum sales and repair business.

Small appliances

A few years later, in 2001, the store kept growing, adding the sale and repair of small electrical appliances to its kitchen offering while refreshing its image: it took the name Centre de Services Chapman.

Computerized inventory and an interactive website

In the early 2000s, the store enlarged its sales floor, built new expertise in selling and repairing coffee machines and went online. That is when the company's official name became Boutique Chapman.

Positioned ever since as the local leader in coffee machines, vacuums and kitchenware, the store keeps growing by making customer service its main mission, while expanding its online presence with products and services offered across Canada.

Moving to 224 rue Bellehumeur

In 2026, the store acquired a commercial building to house its showroom and warehouse, in the heart of a thriving Gatineau business district. The company enlarged its sales floor, repair workshop and storage space, and launched its new website, positioning itself as a leader in its field, both regionally and nationally. As it hires new salespeople and repair technicians, the store has not forgotten what has made it strong from the start: always offering the best customer service in its field.
