Gaggia Classic Pro E24 Thunder Black
The Gaggia Classic Pro E24 is a premium entry-level espresso machine designed and built entirely in Italy. Made from commercial-grade components, the Classic Pro E24 features a one-piece steel frame, 3-way solenoid valve, 58mm portafilter, & an all-new brass boiler for improved capacity and performance.
Features & Benefits
The Gaggia Classic has long been a favorite amongst espresso enthusiasts for its commercial-grade build quality and affordable price. The 9-bar OPV, 3-way solenoid valve, and brass group head mean the Classic is capable of brewing espresso to Specialty Coffee Association standards; and, the commercial steam wand is fully capable of frothing cafe-quality microfoam for lattes and cappuccinos.
Build quality was front of mind during the design of this single-boiler espresso machine. The polished steel group cover won’t peel or flake over time, and the 58mm portafilter—once chrome plated brass—is now pure, stainless steel, which better matches the group cover aesthetically and won’t chip or scratch with use. Thanks to a redesigned internal foundation that helps to dampen noise from the vibratory pump, the machine is quieter than ever.
The Pro E24 takes the successes of the Classic and builds on them by adding a brass boiler. This update improves the thermal stability of the machine—brass has more mass than aluminum, so it keeps its temperature more consistently. The brass boiler also has an increased internal capacity compared to the original, which means more steam power and the ability to brew more drinks consecutively.
Updated Brass Boiler
The Classic Pro E24 features an all-new brass boiler which improves thermal stability, increases capacity and upgrades steaming performance.
9-Bar Extractions
The updated OPV allows for 9-bar extractions, which means the Classic Pro E24 brews espresso on par with prosumer-grade machines.
Commercial-Grade Construction
Everything about the Classic Pro E24 is built to last—from its one-piece steel frame to the stainless steel drip tray and tactile rocker switches.
3-Way Solenoid Valve
Unlike other machines at this price point that leave wet, messy pucks after brewing, the Classic Pro E24 uses a solenoid valve to produce dry pucks that are easy to knock out and don’t make a mess of your counter.
